Even the locals don't quite know that some thing so special, quite unique, is laying in their very own back yard, and surprisingly, so close.  Of course we are biased but let us tell you why -

Approximately, 1 1/2 hours drive, north of the airport, you could be boarding your water vessel for a short journey across the beautiful Kawau Bay to an oasis so rich in nature you wont believe you are a part of the Auckland Super City.
